About us

Who we are and what we do.

We have been involved in the production of technical papers since 1904. Thanks to our own design engineering and our own mechanical engineering, we have been able to continuously adapt and further develop the products of the current technology in cooperation with the equipment manufacturers. Today, our company today results from the merger of three Swiss manufacturers of technical papers: Gebr. Willenegger, Zurich; Technogramme SA, Neuchâtel; and Diagramma.

Development

Our company has been a family-owned company since it was founded in 1927 by Oskar Treyer. The basis of the company was originally the production of machines and tools. Through the continuous research and development of new production facilities up to the present day (commissioning of the world fastest automatic chart roll winding machine in 1992) we were able to gain acquire our current position in the international market. 1904 – 2004 – 100 years of producing data media papers in our company obligates us to continue and foster cultivate this tradition.

Medical papers

In the 1930s, the first medical papers were produced, the development began with ink pens, followed by designs with various specialty papers such as electro-sensitive papers, etc. The begin of widespread use of medical recorders came in the early 1950s thanks to the development of a white thermosensitive wax coating on black backing paper.

This type was continuously improved over the years until the first thermoreactive chemicals from the USA entered the market in the 1970s. In addition to pure analog recording, alphanumeric recordings on paper were now also possible. The thermal array technology used today is by far the easiest and least expensive type of recording for this area of application.

Our product: - Quality Made in Switzerland

As a Swiss company with a share of exports of more than 60%, we are committed to the preservation of highest quality at a marketable price. The greatest portion of our production is supplied to equipment manufacturers and general representative. These products are distributed worldwide. Using devices as recording equipment requires the absolute functionality of each individual product. Our product is thus jointly responsible for monitoring entire systems or patients. Meeting this responsibility is our prime objective. Thanks to our long-standing, internally trained employees, optimally adapted machinery and the use of the best possible raw materials, we reached a worldwide reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality products.
